Slow schemers, waste of time, pay new for used!

I will never buy a car from reno toyota again. They never disclose what you are paying for the car until the contract is being signed. Every time I asked them, they said," what does it matter if we can meet your payment terms?" And they never meet your payment terms. by the time it was all said and done, not only did I give them my paid off car that was in good shape, but paid as much for a car with 65,000 miles on it as I would have for a brand new one. I paid over 21,000 for a 2004 honda crv with 65,000 miles and the engine light has not turned off since I bought it. Next time I will buy from Honda direct. They also lie so you will buy. The sales person said that I could buy the car at this price and payment now, and come back in a year and they can refinance it for me. I told him that would not be possible because I would be upside down on the car as soon as I sign the papers. His response was well, probably, but you never know! All this dealership cares about is making a BIG buck!

Pros: They are good at stressing you out

Cons: hours to seal a deal never tell you the price of the car

BEWARE - FROM SALES TO SERVICE THEY'll RIP YOU OFF EVERYTIME

When I was shopping for a Toyota I went to this place and told the salesman what I was looking for. He didn't have what I wanted so he persistently tried to sell me something I had no interest in. Many people I spoke with that owned the same vehicle I was looking for told me "DO NOT BUY FROM RENO TOYOTA. THEY'LL SCREW YOU OVER." So I bought in Carson City; where I was treated like a real person and not a number. It's been a few years since I bought my Toyota and now it needs a few repairs. I took my car to this "rip-off" place and each time the small repair was well over $300. All of it mainly labor. (A rear latch handle was $500 and an antenna was over $300.) I couldn't take the car somewhere else because they already charged me over $100 just to tell me it was going to be a ridiculously expensive repair. I wonder if the new h-u-g-e structure next door (the owners are building) has something to do with the fleecing of their customers? I wanted to share this with others who may be thinking of buying a car or taking their vehicle in for service/repairs to this company that majors in taking advantage of their customers. DON'T DO IT. You'll be so-o-o sorry. I will never go back to them again. For repairs find a good repairman in a private repair shop. It may take a while but it will save you tons of $$ in the long run and keep the money in the local Reno economy.

Pros:

Cons: BIG BUSINESS STILL TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE CONSUMER
