Superb Physician

Dr. Bacchus is a caring and outstanding neurologist. I have been to several in the past for my seizure condition, but Dr. Bacchus is the only one who took the time to introduce me to a medication that my body could handle (I am sensitive to most medications). He took the time to listen, and always returns my calls within a day or less. Always there, and always cares. Highly recommend if you are looking for a competent neurologist. Thank you Dr. Bacchus.!!!

Pros: Really cares and very professional

Cons: nothing

Very proactive

My GP recommended Dr Qualieri and I must say he was very compassionate, kind and sensitve. The best part was his proactivness. He did all the tests needed and from my first symptom to diagnosis was 3 months which is pretty speedy for what I have. He was encouraging and really took care of everything. Granted, Doctors are busy and Dr. Q usually has a full schedule so I understand he doesn't have the leisure to sit and chat with me for an hour so I prepare myself before I go and have my questions ready. No complaints and I feel very fortuante to have him and his staff to call on when I need something.

Pros: Short wait times, great follow up

Cons: I have to drive an hour to get there!

Passive aggressive. Agree with Siskoray to an extent. Question smithan why he/she comments other comments???

While I will chime in on siskoray's behalf, I question why another member would go to the extent of researching another member's comments unless they have something personally vested. Hmmm.... Anyways while I don't agree completely with Siskoray as far as my perception of this doctor's overall demeanor I can say that this one missed the mark as well. I had to go to UCDavis to actually get a clean diagnosis which came up as MS in the first stage, something this doctor clearly missed and I venture to agree that it is either due to carelessness or laziness. My primary care physician (A new one by the way that did not refer me to Qualieri) stated that I was not the first case that he had come upon where Qualieri's notes were questionable and lacked vital information. I'm glad smithan thinks this person is wonderful but be careful about commenting on other people's experiences since you clearly are biased and have no right whatsoever in making any judgements about another person's bad experience. Unless of course you happen to be a staff member instead and are simply here to advertise on your bosses behalf to which I say shame on you smithan. By the way, the same primary physician also commented on the quality of neurologists in Reno and mentioned that finding out that the quality of care to be less than average is not surprising. So it appears that Reno is a dry town when it comes to Neurology, at least in my opinion and experience. If my MS could have been detected earlier I wouldn't have had to go through months of pain and could have received proper treatment earlier.

Pros: Can't think of any

Cons: Didn't diagnose my MS and had to go out of state to find this out.
