I'm what most people would consider a loser. Of course, "most people" are morons. I've been to college for a while and never really got anywhere I would consider worthwhile. I'm 27 and live at home with my mother. Is that pathetic? I really don't care. My mom's awesome and she moved all the way across the country for me just so I could decide for myself what to do with my life. Someday, when I'm making my own living, my mom will be living near me in a home of her dreams. Now that I've found a mate, I feel that my mom living near by is even more important, because she is a veritable fountain of wisdom, an unending source of support, and a true humanitarian... someone I insist that my future children have the opportunity to learn from.

I enjoy martial arts a lot, and anime... but I'm too lazy to attend martial arts classes at this point in my life, and too broke to collect anime like I'd want to.

I do, however, have a PS3 and a Wii and the games consume the majority of my liquid assets.

I love to stay active, volleyball, downhill skiing, you name it. As long as I'm having a good time and or the company is right. I'm down for just about anything. I'm looking for a partner in crime. My name is Trista. I'm married to a wonderful guy, so don't be thinkin the wrong thing. Well good, I'm glad that's out of the way. =) I am going to be going to be getting my AA in Radiology. Or at least, that's what I'm thinking at this point. I was in school for journalism, but that didn't work out so swell, seeing as how I don't much like to write anymore. Also of note: My husband was injured in a near fatal accident *and I do mean near fatal, he was care-flighted to the hospital* in March of last year. (2007). He fell 40 feet onto concrete while doing iron work. He is lucky to be alive and more than that, a walking miracle. I'm so thankful for him to still be here and relatively all in one piece. :)

Up for anything

let's see I'm usually a pretty quiet guy I like walking my dog Boston (a Shar-Pei) which is always interesting, reading, playing basketball, or best of all intelligent conversation. Music is crucial of course but live is like no other. I've been across the US but really want travel international.

A heavy focus in my life right now (and has been for some time) is working on inner peace, joy, and just becoming an overall better person. I am doing this mostly through daily meditation, contemplation, and just experiencing life. But I'm not at all like some monk in a temple - I get out, spend time with friends, take photos, and whatever else happens to catch my interest at the time. I am generally quiet and have a serious side, but when I am with people I am comfortable with I can be sociable, make witty jokes, be silly, and playful. I don't care for large crowds of people and prefer to be with a smaller, more intimate group of people. I like to hang out in quiet place where I can hear myself think or enjoy a conversation with someone; as such I do not hang out in clubs much, though I will go once in a while with friends to have fun.

I would like to find a woman that is going in the same direction in her life so that we might make the journey together, helping each other along the way. Don't hesitate to show your interest in some way!

This is the part that I can't stand. Every time I describe myself I begin to wonder, "is this who I really am?" Then I want to edit, delete, change, or get rid of what I have written and start over. However, I can share some things that I know are constant.

1. I have a 3 year old son who takes first place. He also has high functioning autism so he takes a lot of my time. He is a commitment like any other child and then some. Seriously, don't waste my time if this might remotely be a concern to you.

2. I am busy, I like to be productive, but I sometimes (a lot) procrastinate. For some reason, I do better under pressure.

3. I say I want a vacation but really, I don't know what I would do with myself unless I was to go far away and had no choice but to ignore household chores.

4. On that note, I like my house to be clean. I hate water spots on my faucets. I don't mind the toys but EVERYTHING has its place and I tend to spend my day putting them there. I hate things on my counters and I am constantly doing laundry. I hate washing dishes. Funny thing: I don't make my bed that often but I do change my sheets once a week!

5. Shhhhhhh.....I drink milk from the jug. I can't stand the thought of dirtying a glass for a couple swallows.

6. I can't tolerate someone who can't spell or write well. I have an education and I take advantage of what I have learned. I don't like IM lingo except the occasionally LOL, lmao, rotflmao because that takes a lot of typing! You don't have to be a poet but please use capitalization, punctuation, and complete sentences. Please?

7. When I fall in love, I fall in love deeply and give every ounce of my being. I like to spoil with tenderness, soft touches, gentle kisses, and compliments. When I am in love, I want my partner to feel it as much as I do.

8. I am a girly girl. I keep my nails done and almost always polished red. I do my hair every day. I don't wear very much makeup but enough to accent my features. I like to dress pretty. I love getting flowers.

9. I want to be courted (real dating). Slow and steady. Romantic. I don't kiss on the first date and sex is saved for seriousness.

Okay, so this is what I am looking for in a man.

1. Someone who doesn't have addictions. What I mean is someone who is physically and emotionally sober. I want someone who doesn't have to go out every weekend in order to have fun. Let's stay in and let me kick your butt in cribbage!

2. I need someone who isn't afraid to communicate. I don't mean you have to spill your guts about everything but if you have an issue with me, say it.

3. Also, don't pout. I have no tolerance for pouty people. I don't mind if you are in a bad mood once in a while. Heck, I will even try to cheer you up. But a perpetual state of unhappiness drains me. I cannot support another person mentally or emotionally.

4. I need someone who likes to have fun. Don't be afraid to laugh in public or even display your inner child. With that, you need to have an inner child to keep up with my antics. Haha!

5. I hope you have a job. I don't care what it is as long as you don't sit and complain about how much you hate it. I have this belief that if there is something in your life you don't like, then change it. Be proactive!

6. I like, no, love my man to look good. I like a man who cares about his appearance, who isn't afraid to dress nice but can still relax once in a while, and dammit! he has to smell good. Cologne is essential.

8. I need someone who knows what he wants or isn't afraid of commitment. I don't want to jump into anything serious right away but knowing it's a possibility is good.

9. I need someone with CONFIDENCE and WHO IS HAPPY WITH HIMSELF.

Okay, so I can't really think of much more right now. Don't worry, I'm sure that by tonight I will be making changes!

My father honestly can not do things around his home that need to be done, and he falls alot, so as a result i live with him for his benifit, not my own.

I am what I call a 'Hobby Nerd'. I dabble in a number of hobbies, and often surprise people with a broad scope of knowledges and subjects of interest, but the majority of my energy is concentrated on two major 'nerdy' catagories: Fantasy, and Sci-fi. For me, make-believe never ended with childhood, it just grew and matured into an outlet for creativity that makes life much more enjoyable. From great works of art based on ancient myths or fairy tales, to fantasy and sci-fi novels, to the made-up worlds of video games, my life would not be the same without the imaginary worlds and works of others. Some day, I hope to add my own creations to that endless pile.

I guess such interests carry a mixed blesssing for me. I have always been pretty comfortable living a mostly anti-social existence, caught up in my own projects with all my free time. I have never been good with meeting new people, and I have never been really comfortable in large, anonymous social situations. Other than extreme anxiety giving me trouble, I believe I simply prefer a more personal, and more casual, interaction with people. Well, I'm Matt. I am very intelligent and shy. I enjoy a good movie on a Friday night. Those are always fun.

I am also what you would call a "geek" or "nerd" because I enjoy comics, Star Wars, and video games. But I am also very athletic. So I'm the complete package.

I'll tell you what. I'm a pretty fabulous dancer. That's a lie. But I'm pretty good at singing.

So I hate it when people don't respond to my messages. A simple "No" or "I actually don't want to talk to you" would be nice.

So anyways, I am very different. I've got my own style and I really don't need anyone to have a good time. I am perfectly fine with going to the movies by myself. Matinee, of course, because nightly rates are just so expensive. I enjoy going to the midnight releases of good movies.

I am very easy going, and easy to get along with. I am an honest person and very trustworthy. I am a really good listener, or so I have been told. I am very close with my family. My family and friends are very important to me. I don't know what I would do without them. I am not very good at writing about myself, so I hope I have done alright. I like to workout. I sprint 2 days a week and lift weights 3 days a week. I cook all my own meals. I like to help other people reach their fitness goals. I like the movies and sharing meals with people. I like it much better when it is sunny outside. I like animals. I like to travel and meet different people. I enjoy all types of different cultures. I think it would be fun to date an athlete. I usually end up with (super-brainy) people. It would be nice to find someone who is adventurous. I am artistic and like to build things. I enjoy coaching young people especially in track & field. I would like to find someone who is loyal, kind, passionate and likes to kiss and make body contact as much as possible. I guess that will do it for now.

I love books and reading. I have a BA in English and am two classes away from an MA in English. I teach high and middle school. I wish I could build a more understanding society about teaching and a better school. I care deeply about my students but more so about my family.

Being a country girl at heart, I can go from denim to diamonds, but my preference is denim. I have no preconcieved ideals of the perfect man or relationship, other than I would like a person who values honesty and faithfulness as I do. I was born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area. I'm a pretty laid back and down to earth. I don't drink or do drugs and never have. I go to the gym four days a week to try and stay in shape. I have a 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. They are the best! I enjoy the usual outdoorsy things and spur of the moment road trips in the car or on the motorcycle. I love fast cars and custom choppers and I'm really good at driving as it is also what I do for a living, I drive for the worlds largest package delivery company. I like movies, either going to the theater or watching them at home.
