Things to do in Reno
Are restaurants what make a city great? Some might say its businesses and activities while others would tout its opportunities and quality of life, but nearly every equation includes great places to eat distinctive foods in comfortable surroundings. Here at HelloReno.com, you'll find just that ... and much more, including those places that local residents tend to keep to themselves.
It's the best of Reno dining, in one convenient location!
Squeeze In, an inconspicuous restaurant in a small shopping plaza in northwest Reno, literally squeezes people in each morning. The capacity is a modest 114, plus 46 on outdoor tables between May and October, yet they crack about 162,500 eggs each year to feed all the folks who squeeze in. There's another one in Truckee and a third opening soon in south Reno.
The Atlantis Steakhouse has raised the culinary stakes in Reno since opening in January 2010—no small feat in an Old West city where locals prized good steakhouses generations before the current steakhouse fad struck coastal cities.
